Dr. Joerg Storm is a global CIO, entrepreneur, and leading voice in AI-driven transformation. With more than two decades of international leadership experience across Europe, China, Japan, and the United States, he has built and scaled complex technology organizations at Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi Fuso, and Daimler. His track record spans enterprise IT strategy, AI, cloud, blockchain, robotics, and large-scale digital transformation.
He currently serves as Partner at Transformation Management AG, CIO and Advisory Board Member at Simultrayd, and Founder & CEO of Dr. Storm Advisory GmbH, where he advises global companies and startups on AI strategy, automation, and digital ecosystems. Dr. Storm is also a faculty member at Provadis University and a strategic advisor to multiple international tech ventures in the US, Europe, and the Middle East.
Previously, he led global infrastructure for Mercedes-Benz Mobility and Mercedes-Benz Sales Europe, overseeing IT operations for 125,000 users across 82 countries. Earlier roles include CIO positions across Mercedes-Benz in Beijing, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China Aftersales, where he drove major AI, IoT, SAP, and smart-factory initiatives.
