Matt Lewis is a visionary leader, digital innovation catalyst, and artificial intelligence expert with 25 years in life sciences. He founded LLMental, a digital mental health platform operating as a public benefit corporation, committed to leveraging AI for mental wellness. Previously, Matt served as Global Chief Medical Analytics and Innovation Officer at Inizio Health, where he led teams of analysts, data scientists, and consultants supporting medical device, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical companies. He serves as Co-Chair of the ISMPP AI Task Force, on the Healthcare Communications Association’s Foresight Committee, and authored MAPS’ Generative AI White Paper. Matt holds an MPA and is recognized as a LinkedIn Top AI Voice. His mission combines cutting-edge AI innovation with compassionate healthcare delivery, advocating for ethical AI deployment that prioritizes patient outcomes and mental wellness.
Before establishing LLMental, Matt served as the Global Chief Artificial and Augmented Intelligence Officer at Inizio Medical, where he became the first Chief AI Officer in a private equity-backed life sciences consulting firm. Over his career, he has led teams that brought more than 75 drugs, devices, and digital therapeutics to market, with a focus on areas such as women’s health, oncology, rare diseases, and neuropsychiatric disorders.
Matt has also developed and launched over 20 SaaS platforms and founded Inizio Medical’s advanced analytics department. He is a frequent contributor to conferences, podcasts, executive workshops, and industry publications, sharing insights on the intersection of AI and mental health.
