“Advancements in generative AI, virtual reality, and augmented reality have enabled a virtual testbed where future-focussed creators such as myself can create, experience, test, and communicate the design of future places.”

What will cities be like when AI takes over?

As the first digitally native generation, Gen-Z is unique in how they adopt technology and social media. What should we do today to be future-ready?

What would a future workplace be like? One that fully embraces emerging technologies while still caring deeply about the employee experience?

Creating places today for the needs of tomorrow is challenging with the rapid rate of technological advancements, paired with the imperative to create a more sustainable society.

I feel it is essential that we get this right in order to better serve generations to come.

Nikki Greenberg says that to create the world, you must first imagine it. A globally recognized futurist, she challenges organizations to embrace transformation at the intersection of technology, design, and human experience. With two decades of international leadership in architecture, urban development, and digital innovation, she brings a powerful vision rooted in both strategy and storytelling.

As the Founder and Chief Innovation Officer of Real Estate of the Future, Nikki leads conversations on what lies ahead for cities, industries, and the workforce. Her work spans continents and disciplines, from luxury developments on New York’s Park Avenue to next-generation shopping malls across Asia and Australia. At QIC, she served as Global Head of Technology Strategy, directing the digital evolution of a $17 billion real estate portfolio. Trained as an architect and holding a Master of International Business, she combines the precision of design with an understanding of global economic forces.

Her 2025 keynote series explores themes that define this decade. In “The Future of Industry,” Nikki outlines a five-year strategic roadmap to help organizations navigate generational shifts, AI integration, and workplace reinvention. In “The Future of the Built Environment,” she invites audiences to rethink how cities, homes, and public spaces are shaped by robotics, automation, and shifting human needs. In “The Future of Work in the Age of AI,” she draws on her experience with multi-generational workplaces to offer practical guidance on leading teams where technology enhances, rather than replaces, human contribution.

Audiences respond to Nikki’s unique ability to translate complexity into clarity. She explains how autonomous drones, robotic arms, and 3D-printed materials are changing how we build, but always returns to a single point: we are designing for people, not machines. Her keynotes explore how to create spaces that inspire, workplaces that empower, and systems that are built to last.

She brings the same depth to her interactive keynote experience, The Future Me Project. In this session, participants map their current trajectory, challenge their assumptions, and engage with a series of provocations designed to prompt bold decisions and long-term personal growth. Using real-time scenarios, future news simulations, and a digital time capsule, the experience encourages action, not abstraction.

Nikki has also developed a workshop, The Strategy Game, where cross-functional teams collaborate to navigate disruptive trends. It’s a space for experimentation, dialogue, and the practical application of future-focused thinking.

Her expertise spans industries including real estate, construction, smart cities, retail, and technology. She addresses the future of travel, the reinvention of retail spaces, and the transformation of the workplace in an era defined by digital fluidity. Gen Z and Gen Alpha are a central focus of her work, not just as employees or consumers, but as drivers of entirely new expectations around space, technology, and culture.

Nikki’s message is grounded and urgent. Shopping malls are being reimagined as mixed-use centers with childcare, co-working, and medical services. Office towers are becoming vertical neighborhoods. The metaverse is merging with physical architecture. Her lens is always wide, global, and current.

As she puts it, “The world is changing and we need to keep educating ourselves.” In Nikki Greenberg’s vision, lifelong learning is a strategy, not a slogan. Her work is a call to design with intention, lead with imagination, and shape a future that reflects both our capabilities and our values.
