Using Engineered Arts’ proprietary Mesmer technology, dozens of individually actuated motors — 27 in the face and head alone — let Ameca replicate the full range of human expression, from a raised eyebrow to a knowing smile.
With cameras in its eyes and chest, embedded microphones, facial recognition, and large-language-model-powered conversation, Ameca can make eye contact, react in real time, and hold genuinely engaging conversations with the people around it.
